If you are using an image on a web page, squeeze page or something else and the image has a background on it that you want to remove you can easily do this for free.  In this post I will show you how you can easily remove any background from an image in minutes.

Follow The Steps Below And You Can Do It Too.

Right click on image you want to edit and select properties.  Click on ‘Details’ and note the height and width.

Go to Pixlr.com

Log in, you can log in with your Facebook profile or register with your email.

Scroll down to Pixlr Editor and click on ‘Launch Web App’

Click on ‘CREATE A NEW IMAGE’

Type is the width and height from before, click Transparent icon and click OK.pixlr-editing-squeeze-page-image

 

Find the image and upload to Pixlr

Once uploaded click on the image and press Ctrl + A together (Highlight image), then Ctrl + X together (Cut image)

Click on the first window you opened and press Ctrl + V together (paste in new window)

Click on the ‘magic wand tool’

Click on the white area to highlight the white area

Click on the eraser tool.

Erase the area you want to be transparent

Save as a PNG file.
