It’s the new year and we’re all starting it with high hopes of great things. I wanted things to improve and get better, but things seem to be moving at a snail’s pace and I don’t understand why. It just seems like nothing is working. It took me nearly the whole of January to get myself into gear.
January should have been a month to remember, all of my new businesses should have been powered into over drive, but it all started up at a snail’s pace and even worse my income didn’t go the way I wanted. Things could be worse, but I still have to look on the bright side. I’m living in Thailand and doing exactly what I want.
Amazon Kindle Business
January has been one of the worst months in a long time for my business, I truly did think I would have everything kicking off well and moving forward, but this was just not to be. I got the keywords and niches going but didn’t have any of my books written, that will all happen in February.
So this month was literally like last month, I didn’t do much work on my Amazon business but still made passive income which is always a plus, this would have to be another month of passiveness for me 😛
This month I did start to outsource more with virtual assistants, this is preparation for the months to come.
Here is a breakdown of how much I made
Kindle Paid Royalties: $370.90 (Includes US, UK & Euro Royalties) = (Decrease -$213.35)
Kindle Unlimited Royalties: $42.48 (9038 pages read x $0.0047 per page) = (Decrease -$4.28)
Create Space Royalties: $865.75 (Includes US, UK & Euro Royalties) = (Decrease -$614.19)
ACX Audible Royalties: $177.90 + $125 Bounty = $302.90 = (Increase +$157.59) (December Royalties)

This month has been on the down, I would have like it to gone up in my income, but it was not to be. I just have to look at this as a low point in the last few months. But at the end of the day, I still made money from not doing any work on the books that I own so that is a plus. Now I have to look forward and create more books.
The plan now is to outsource 90% of the work, I have been going back through Kindle AutoPilot to refresh myself on the outsourcing process. I am now hiring for most of the work that I do so I don’t concentrate on the small time-consuming tasks as much. Time to start working on the business, not in it.
Do you see the results I achieved above, you can do it too, all of that is passive income, and I earned it all from Kindle publishing. To get started with your own Kindle publishing business I recommend Self-Publishing Revolution. The number one course online for learning about Kindle publishing. The moment I changed Kindle courses was the pivotal moment in my Kindle business, relive that moment and find out what happened after I changed Kindle courses.
One thing I understand is that starting your own Kindle publishing journey you may have many questions. So what I am doing to help you get started is give 30 Minutes Mentoring for FREE (Worth $100) when you purchase through my link

Passive Income: Affiliate Commissions
You may have noticed I have been writing more posts over the last few weeks, I would put this down to getting loads of new ideas and at the same time outsourcing my work so I can spend more time on the one thing I really enjoy which is writing my blog, you may feel it through my writing. The other thing I have started doing is shooting more videos, I am adding them to most of my posts as a way to get to a bigger audience. This is just something which I am really starting to get into now, if you started your own blog you would realise that feeling too.
I visit my affiliate dashboard on a daily basis and I am always excited to see some numbers on the board, if I see some commission I get a really good feeling. If there isn’t any it feels like there is more that I could do. I know I put in the work prior but it still feels like free money that has been put in my account.
I started my blogging journey over a year ago with Earnest Affiliate. It taught me what I needed to get started and how to earn money from my blog. I feel it is a great solution for anyone looking to get started with their own journey too.

Grand Total Passive Income
When you own a business money goes up and down and you should never be disheartened by this, you should always be looking at what you can do to improve it. For me, I feel I am spending too much time in my business instead of on it so now I am looking to outsource most of my work so I can create a better work day for myself instead of having to worry about the small tedious tasks.
I want to start a few more businesses and get the new affiliate marketing sites up and running, with more free time I will be able to get so much more done. I am excited as I will be able to produce more books too which will help raise my income. I want 2017 to be my year and become free from work chains and let other people do my work while I work on more enjoyable things.
It is exciting times ahead!
